Warm down in the therapeutic spa after a workout or unwind after a long day and relax tired muscles and ease any aches and pains. After just a few minutes in the spa you’ll feel the tension release from your body.
Short stints in the sauna will aid your recovery sessions and help loosen and relax muscles after hard exercise. Heavy sweating and an elevated body temperature help your complexion by eliminating toxins and chemicals from the skin, whilst providing relief from stress and tension from the day.
The steam room will relieve any muscular aches, detoxify the skin and improve your circulation whilst relaxing tense muscles.
At Roar Fitness Bibra Lake, we are committed to providing high quality, skill-based swimming lessons for children aged 6 months upwards. Our instructors are Austswim certified, and we follow the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive program to equip your children with the skills they need to keep themselves safe in and around the water.
The Wonder Program is the ‘water familiarization’ component of the Swim and Survive program, and is designed for children aged 6- 36 months. In this level, a parent or carer accompanies the child into the water where they are taught a variety of skills including floating, breathing and movement. Wonder classes are a fun, challenging way to introduce your child to the water.
Courage is the ‘water confidence’ component of the Swim and Survive program and is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years. Courage works to develop the basic foundation skills in swimming, survival and water safety and encourages a positive and safe attitude towards being in and around the water. Courage uses fun and safe activities to gradually build upon breathing, floating and movement skills. Courage has 5 levels for children to progress through as they build confidence and develop new skills.
Active is the Swimming and Water Safety component of the Swim and Survive program and is designed for students aged 5 – 14 years. Active is used to emphasize the skills learnt in the program not only to save lives, but to provide a foundation for safe participation in a range of aquatic recreation, fitness and sporting activities. There are 3 developing awards and 7 core awards to progress through.
Our terms are ongoing, and only break for Christmas, which means that you can enroll at any time. Children are assessed on an ongoing basis, and graduate to the next level as soon as they are ready.
Lessons are purchased in 16 week blocks and can be paid for either in an upfront lump sum or as an ongoing fortnightly direct debit. If you need to miss a lesson, we are more than happy to organise a makeup lesson at a time that suits you.
We have classes every day during the week and on Saturday mornings, which allows us to be flexible in finding times to suit your busy lifestyle.
We offer a free session for your child to trial our classes, and to give our instructors a chance to assess them before formally starting the program. This ensures that your child is swimming in the optimal level from their very first class.
What is the Learn to Swim program?
The Learn to Swim program follows the guidelines of the Royal Lifesaving Society of Australia’s Swim and Survive program and is specifically designed for members and their families. All instructors hold an AustSwim qualification as a minimum and are also available for adult private lessons.
When and where are classes held?
Classes run from Monday to Saturday in the indoor heated pool and generally last for 30 minutes.
When does the Learn to Swim program run?
The program runs continuously from mid-January to mid-December each year and suspension or make-up sessions may be available for family holidays or illness. Children will receive certificates of achievement as they progress through different awards and stages.
How to enrol?
Simply complete an enrolment at reception and select a payment method. Your child can then commence right away (a 15-minute assessment may be required).
Please bring a towel, swimwear, and goggles. All other gear is supplied. Children who are not yet fully toilet trained will need to wear an appropriate aqua nappy.
Whether you simply wish to improve your swimming abilities, train for an event or take on swimming as a completely new form of exercise- our group classes can cater for all.

Beginner: 5.45-6.15 (30 minutes)

Advanced: 7.00-7.45 (30 minutes OR 45 minutes)

For individuals who enjoy a fun, supportive exercise experience, group training classes are available. You can take part in an assortment of interactive group fitness classes in Canning Vale, including CrossFit, barbell classes, and the popular spin classes.
