A fitness culture is something that needs to be developed from a young age, allowing kids to harness their energy (or lack thereof) and learn how to train with proper technique.
Our group fitness programs introduce kids to a regular fitness regime that is fun, supportive and motivational.
Our kids’ fitness classes create a safe, creative and educational environment that nurtures the development of new friendships while also getting your kids physically and mentally fit.
Kids Sports Development
While schools do a great job of exposing children to the world of sport, it’s never too early to introduce kids to physical activity – especially in a group setting. Whether you have a child that’s yet to start with grade one or want to give your school kids an extra physical outlet while you’re at the gym, we’ve got you covered.
This service is FREE for members’ kids and $5/kid for non-members.

Children love the Learn to Swim programme, which follows the guidelines of the Royal Lifesaving Society of Australia’s Swim and Survive programme. All instructors hold an AustSwim qualification as a minimum, ensuring your child is in safe hands.

At Roar Fitness Bibra Lake, we are committed to providing high quality, skill-based swimming lessons for children aged 6 months upwards. Our instructors are Austswim certified, and we follow the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive program to equip your children with the skills they need to keep themselves safe in and around the water.
The Wonder Program is the ‘water familiarization’ component of the Swim and Survive program, and is designed for children aged 6- 36 months. In this level, a parent or carer accompanies the child into the water where they are taught a variety of skills including floating, breathing and movement. Wonder classes are a fun, challenging way to introduce your child to the water.
Courage is the ‘water confidence’ component of the Swim and Survive program and is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years. Courage works to develop the basic foundation skills in swimming, survival and water safety and encourages a positive and safe attitude towards being in and around the water. Courage uses fun and safe activities to gradually build upon breathing, floating and movement skills. Courage has 5 levels for children to progress through as they build confidence and develop new skills.
Active is the Swimming and Water Safety component of the Swim and Survive program and is designed for students aged 5 – 14 years. Active is used to emphasize the skills learnt in the program not only to save lives, but to provide a foundation for safe participation in a range of aquatic recreation, fitness and sporting activities. There are 3 developing awards and 7 core awards to progress through.
Our terms are ongoing, and only break for Christmas, which means that you can enroll at any time. Children are assessed on an ongoing basis, and graduate to the next level as soon as they are ready.
Lessons are purchased in 16 week blocks and can be paid for either in an upfront lump sum or as an ongoing fortnightly direct debit. If you need to miss a lesson, we are more than happy to organise a makeup lesson at a time that suits you.
We have classes every day during the week and on Saturday mornings, which allows us to be flexible in finding times to suit your busy lifestyle.
We offer a free session for your child to trial our classes, and to give our instructors a chance to assess them before formally starting the program. This ensures that your child is swimming in the optimal level from their very first class.
Kids Swim School Rates: $16 per week for a member and $19 per week for non-member
CrossFit Kids is a program specifically designed for the developmental needs of children from as young as 5 through to teens. Through games and workouts the children will develop agility, coordination, balance, speed, flexibility and strength. Kids experience constant variety to keep them engaged. They also enjoy the benefits of working together as a group – not to mention the feeling of success from their own achievements.
Our CrossFit Kids Program is for ages 6-9 and runs during the School Term of 10 weeks. We also offer a class for the littler ones called CrossFit Kindy, which is for ages 4-5. We do not run Kindy/Kids Classes during the school holidays which is why we have parents purchase sessions for their children from our website, so they’re able to pick and choose when they come to class. Family discounts are available to parents who are signing up more than one child.

We run classes all year round for our Pre-Teens and Teens. Our Pre-Teens classes are for ages 10-12 and Teens ages 13+. Every child will sign up on an ongoing membership where parents are debited weekly, just like a normal gym membership.

$15 for 1 session p/week
$27 for 2 sessions p/week
$39 for 3 sessions p/week
$46 for 4 sessions p/week (Only available for Teens classes)
There is also a 10% discount on the membership rates if there is more than 1 child in the same family.
Memberships can be suspended as needed for family holidays at no cost and can be cancelled with 30 day’s notice.
